01

Your local library

Audio files you import are copied into Unreal Audio’s private app storage so they remain available for playback. The app does not upload those audio files to Unreal Audio servers. Deleting an imported track removes its app-managed copy.

02

Apple Music

Apple Music access is optional. When you grant permission, Unreal Audio uses Apple’s MusicKit services to browse and play content available to your Apple Music account. Apple Music streams remain in Apple’s protected playback system and do not pass through Unreal Audio’s local DSP engine.

03

Artwork and metadata

The app reads artwork embedded in audio files and stores imported covers in its private app storage. You can clear cached artwork from Settings. Original audio files are not modified.

04

iCloud

If you enable iCloud sync, favorite track identifiers are stored in your private iCloud key-value store and merged across devices signed in to your Apple Account. Audio files are not uploaded by this feature.

05

Diagnostics and tracking

Unreal Audio does not include advertising trackers and does not sell personal information. A diagnostics report is created only when you request it in Settings; you decide whether to share the copied text with support.

06

Your choices

You can revoke Apple Music access in iOS Settings, disable iCloud sync inside the app, clear cached artwork, and delete imported tracks at any time. Removing the app deletes its private local data from the device.

THE SHORT VERSION

Unreal Audio is built to play your music—not profile you.

Local files stay in the app’s private device storage. Optional Apple Music access is handled through Apple, and optional favorites sync uses your private iCloud store. You remain in control of permissions and deletion.
