COMMON QUESTIONS

Start here.

Tap a question to reveal the answer.

01How do I import my music?+

Open Listen or System → Import & scan, then choose supported audio files from the Files picker. Imported files are copied into the app’s private storage so they remain available offline.

02Why does DSP not affect Apple Music?+

Apple Music uses Apple’s protected MusicKit playback system. DRM-protected streams cannot pass through Unreal Audio’s local PCM and DSP engine. DSP, EQ, FIR convolution, and playback gain apply to imported local files.

03A local track will not play. What should I do?+

Confirm the track still appears under Listen → Songs. If its app-managed copy is missing or damaged, remove it and import the source file again.

04Why did my sound change when I connected headphones?+

If route-specific DSP recall is enabled, Unreal Audio can restore the listening setup saved for that output. Open DSP Studio and check the full-chain bypass, Pure listening, active profile, and route recall settings.

05Can I listen with the screen locked?+

Yes. Start a local track, then lock your iPhone or switch apps. Playback controls remain available from the Lock Screen and Control Center.

06How do I reset cached artwork?+

Open Settings and use the artwork cache maintenance control. Your original audio files are never modified.

PRIVACY-SAFE DIAGNOSTICS

Useful context.
Only when you choose.

In Unreal Audio, open System → Settings → Help & Support and tap Copy diagnostics. The report is created on demand and copied to your clipboard. Review it before sharing.

Diagnostics include playback and DSP state needed to investigate a problem. Unreal Audio does not send the report automatically.

Still need help?

Copy diagnostics from the Help & Support screen inside Unreal Audio, then include them in your message so we can help faster.
